Evelyn E. Fisher

Evelyn E. (Beinhower) Fisher, 89, of East Earl, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the wife of Earl S. Fisher, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

Born in Etters, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Mabel (King) Beinhower.

Evelyn worked for New Holland Lingerie for over 25 years, retiring in 1994. She was also a member of Ranck’s U. M. Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, gardening, and spending time at the family mountain retreat.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children: William R. Fisher, husband of Jeanne (Henry), of East Earl, Robert E. Fisher, husband of Marie (Landis), of Ephrata, and Mary Louise Andrew, wife of Michael, of Terre Hill; two brothers: Howard Beinhower, husband of Rosella, of Dover, and J.C. Beinhower of Vero Beach, FL; two sisters: Arlene Myers of Etters and Helen Pakacki of Wrightsville; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosetta M. Fisher, two brothers, Earl and Ralph Beinhower, a granddaughter, Kelly Marie Fisher, a sister-in-law, Ida Mae Beinhower, and a brother-in-law, Roy Myers.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Ranck’s U. M. Church, 700 Ranck Road, New Holland, PA 17557, with Pastor Kevin Readman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30-11 AM. If desired, memorials in Evelyn’s name may be sent to Ranck’s U. M.
