F. June Stives

F. June Stives, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 29, 2011 surrounded by her husband John D. Stives and her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, June grew up in West Windsor, NJ, and relocated to Lancaster County, PA in 1986 with her husband, John. Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, George D., Jr., and wife Joann Wright, Anthony J., and wife, RoseMary Wright; daughters, Mary J., and husband Harry Young, and Jacqueline S., and husband Charles Battle, Jr. In addition June is survived by one sister, Louise Fackas of Seminole, FL; 4 step children; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; and many nieces & nephews. Viewing will be private. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 3 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland, PA. Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ on Wednesday, January 4 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Hwy.
