Fannie B. Smucker, 89, of 170 Water Street, Narvon, PA, passed away on Jan. 5, 2015, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Elmer S. Smucker, who died in 1995.
Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late David Z. and Sarah (Riehl) Lapp. A homemaker, Fannie spent many happy hours sewing crafts for various stores in the area. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by eight sons and three daughters: David L., husband of Ruth (Stoltzfus) Smucker of Narvon, Christian L., husband of Naomi (King) Smucker of Narvon; Sara L., wife of John Esh, of East Earl; Samuel L. of Narvon; Jacob L., husband of Barbara (Stoltzfus) Smucker, of Narvon; Elmer L., husband of Katie (Esh) Smucker of Denver; Rachel L., wife of Samuel Smucker of New Holland; Steven L husband of Barbara (Boll) Smucker of East Earl; Amos L., husband of Velma (Martin) Smucker of Leola, Fern L., wife of Samuel Beiler and Benuel L., both of Stevens; 43 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Christian B. Lapp, husband of Emma (Beiler) King of Gap and Amos B., husband of Mattie (Stoltzfus) Lapp of Gordonville.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Rachel, Rebecca, Leah and Mary; grandson John David Smucker; son-in-law John Miller; and four infant grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at 10 a.m. from the late home. Interment will be in the Mast Cemetery. Friends may call from the time of this notice until the service at the late home. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements with Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
