Florence Zigich

Florence Zigich, 80, of Terre Hill, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Fairmount Homes after a lengthy illness.

Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of George and Elmira (Mosier) Cartwright. She was married 61 years on Sept. 27 to George Zigich.

Florence was a homemaker and a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, George N., married to Theresa (Killbride) Zigich of Farmingdale, NJ, Nicholas M. Zigich at home, and Glenn, married to Laura (Memmenger) Zigich of Frenchtown, NJ; four grandchildren; a sister, Clara Cartwright of Philadelphia; and a brother, James Cartwright of Philadelphia.

Preceding her in death are four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 11 am at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 276 W. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Rob Stippich officiating.
