Floyd K. Petersheim

Floyd K. Petersheim, 87, formerly of Goodville, passed into the eternal presence of our Lord and Savior on October 11, 2023.

He was married 66 years to Rebecca Stoltzfus Petersheim. Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Jonathan and Barbara Kurtz Petersheim. Floyd was predeceased by his 11 older siblings.

Surviving besides his wife are four daughters that have memories of their dad to always cherish, Ginni Mountz-Bomberger (Dook), Doris Smith (Brian), Selena Martin (Vinnie), and Lucia Nolan (Jeff); 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was a member of Dove Christian Fellowship. Following retirement, he was a van driver for the Plain Sect Community. He was a caring, gentle man who will be missed by many.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Maple Farms staff and the Hospice and Community Care staff for their outstanding care of our loved one.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 29, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave, New Holland, PA. The family will greet friends following the service.
