Forrest J. Tolley

Forrest J. Tolley, 70, of Elverson, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, Reading. His wife of 48 years, Helen (Geiger) Tolley, survives.

Born in Yancey County, NC, he was the son of the late Malley and Etta (Garland) Tolley.

Forrest was an equipment operator for 27 years at Glasgow Quarry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Joel married to Shelby (Stauffer) Tolley, Elverson and Jason married to Denyne (Potts) Tolley, Shillington; two grandchildren, Lucas and Lillian Tolley; a sister Bernice Murphy, Green Mountain, NC and a brother Royce Tolley, Erwin, TN.

He was preceded in death by four siblings: Atlas Adkins, Pauline Adkins, Gertrude Murphy, Rosalee Blake, and Sanders Tolley.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
