Frances H. (Hunt) Logue, 89, a resident of Fairmount Homes, passed away on January 28, 2026.
Born in Port Jervis, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Earle and Ethel Estella (Justice) Hunt.
She was the wife of the late John “Jack” F. Logue, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage until the time of his passing on January 3, 2015.
Frances had served as a Private First Class in the United States Marines Corps. She was a member of New Holland Church of the Nazarene, and she was an activities director at Fairmount Homes from 1990-1998. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing, going on missions trips with her church and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful seamstress and had assisted in the alterations of many wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, as well as making pillow case dresses for ministries in Africa.
Frances is survived by six children: John F. “Jack” married to Maureen Logue, Gary J. married to Gayle Logue, Bruce Barclay, Robin married to Ann Barclay, Ronald married to Lisa Logue and Dennis married to Denise Logue; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her siblings: Charlotte Kurtz, Patricia Hill, Barbara Caruso, Martha Crawford, Frederick Hunt and Candice Kornrunph.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Barclay, her son Robert Logue, grandson, Robby Barclay and siblings, Betty Crawford, Leslie Groom and Nelson Hunt.
Viewings will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel, 333 Wheatridge Drive, Ephrata PA 17522. Interment will be private.
Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
