Francis Anthony Lippolis, 94, of New Holland, passed away on January 29, 2025 as a resident of Garden Spot Village for the past 15 years.
Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Jack and Margaret (Cocchi) Lippolis.
He was the loving husband of Rose A. (Tyler) Lippolis, with whom he married on December 30, 1950 and shared 74 years of marriage.
He had proudly served in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant during the Korean War. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Widener University and attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and was employed as a director of materials in production control for General Electric Corp. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a member of the NRA, RNC, St. James Alumni Association, Heritage Foundation and St. Joseph’s Indian School.
He is survived by his wife, his children; John husband of Debra Lippolis, Judith widow of Robert Burns, Frances wife of Jeffrey Barnes and James husband of Jeanie Lippolis, grandchildren; Dr. Tyler Barnes fiancé of Robert Mauceri, John A. Lippolis husband of Nancy, Ian Huss companion of Coleen Velardi, Stephen Lippolis, Kenny Byerly husband of Meredith, Corinne Sink wife of Joe, Jill Terralavoro, Scott Terralavoro husband of Theresa, great grandchildren; Melissa Lippolis, Samantha Lippolis, Anthony Huss, Dominic Velardi, Alexandra Leon wife of Steven, Graycen Byerly, Nolan Byerly, Bradley Sink, Megan Terralavoro, Alyssa Terralavoro and great great grandchildren; Jordyn and Roman Leon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water Street, New Holland PA 17557 with Father Steve Fauser officiating. A Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring at Garden Spot Village Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Garden Spot Benevolent Fund, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland, PA 17557.
Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
