Frank W. Hoover

Frank W. Hoover, 60, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Lancaster General Hospital ER. His wife of 38 years, Cindy A. (Zimmerman) Hoover, survives.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Warren M. and Phoebe S. (Weaver) Hoover.

Frank was a farmer and a member of Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister Mary W. Hoover, New Holland, a brother Warren W. Hoover, Denver, and a brother-in-law Wayne Zimmerman, Lebanon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosanna Zimmerman.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, 140 Pleasant Valley Rd., Ephrata with Stanley Fox, Richard Burkholder, Ed Shirk and Randy Hoover officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
