Fred G. Seldomridge

Fred G. Seldomridge, 89, went into the arms of his heavenly father on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

He was the son of the late Fred G. and Fianna Elizabeth (Givler) Seldomridge.

He was the husband of the late Linda L. (Murray) Seldomridge, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage until the time of her passing on April 26, 2020.

Fred was a proud steward of the earth farming the family farm for the better part of his life. He served on the ASCS to help improve the business of farming. He was a member of Pequea Presbyterian Church and the Grange, and he volunteered with the White Horse Auxiliary. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his sense of humor, and his love for his family.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda Sassaman, wife of Michael, his sister Alta McFarland, his grandchildren, Victoria Bell wife of Kody, Grant Seldomridge, Marina and Brett Sassaman, his great grandsons, Brent and Liam Bell and daughter in law, Spring Seldomridge-Gouge.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Brett Seldomridge.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Pequea Presbyterian Church, 273 Cambridge Road, Gap PA 17527 with Pastor Alfred Wanner officiating. There will be a viewing held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the church and on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W Main Street, New Holland PA 17557.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Pequea Presbyterian Church at the address above.
