Gary S. Kuhl

Gary Stephen Kuhl, 75, of Cumru Township, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 31st, 2023.

Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late James and Catherine (Brown) Kuhl.

He was the loving husband of Bette Joan (Beaver) Kuhl, with whom he married on January 7, 1989 and shared thirty four years of marriage.

Gary attended MCC Church in Morgantown and was described as a “man after God’s own heart”. He was a talented and gifted singer, musician, and songwriter. In addition to his love of music, he took pride in being a “full time Pop” to his 5 grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife, his daughters, Rebecca Leigh, wife of Charles C. Gring and Emily Jane, wife of Thomas J. Legel and his grandchildren, Olivia Kathryn Gring, Thomas James Legel, Scarlett Raelyn Gring, Mila Claire Legel and Charles James Gring. Also surviving are two sisters.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals in Terre Hill is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
