Gary L. Shank

Gary L. Shank, 67, of Pequea Township passed away on October 20, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son the late Lloyd Shank and Caroline (Althouse) Gordon.

He was a graduate of Pequea Valley High School and employed by Dart Container Corporation. He was a member of the NRA and loved to build and work on cars with his son.

Gary is survived by his son; Tyler Shank of Willow Street, his mother; Caroline (Althouse) Gordon of Florida and his sister; Bonnie Phillips of Coatesville. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, who raised him, Ross and Anna Althouse.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions may be made in Gary’s memory to New Providence Mennonite Church, 121 Main St, New Providence, PA 17560.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
