George William David Bissinger

George William David Bissinger, Sr., 86, of Denver, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Helen (Ruess) Bissinger. He was married 53 years on June 27 to Alice L. (Veitch) Bissinger.

George worked in electronics and later as a security guard for Breyers Ice Cream in Philadelphia.

He was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church in Denver.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 11:30 am at Cornerstone Bible Church, 529 Lauschtown Road, Denver. Interment will be held on Monday, Feb. 5 at 11 am at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler. Viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 am.
