Gladys Adele Redcay

Gladys “Adele” Redcay went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024.

Adele was born in Strasburg on September 29, 1928 to Edgar L. and Maude K. Yunginger.

She was married 14 years to Donald H. Myers, who passed away in January of 1983 and 8 years to Mark C. Redcay, who passed away in January of 1996.

Adele was employed by RCA in Lancaster for 32 years. She was a member of Calvary Church and a resident of Brethren Village since 2001. Adele was a gentle soul with a caring heart, encouraging words, a warm laugh, and helping hands. She brought a special joy to her family and her friends.

Adele is survived by her stepdaughters, Marianne Deaner and Rebecca Myers, step-son, Mark Robin Redcay, a nephew, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephew and step grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her brothers, Norman E. Yunginger and Edgar L. Yunginger, Jr., and her stepdaughter, Jennifer Hernandez.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Grandview Memorial Park, 500 N Weaber Street, Lebanon PA 17042.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Landisville PA 17538 or to Brethren Village Samaritan Fund, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543.
