Gladys R. Wise

Gladys R. (Blank) Wise, 81, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on September 28, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Ira L. and Miriam (Kauffman) Blank.

She was the wife of the late Paul J. Wise Jr., who passed on April 6, 1991.

She was a member of the former Evangelical United Methodist Church and a graduate of Garden Spot High School, class of 1962. She had previously worked for the Lancaster Country Club, was a brownie leader for the Garden Spot troop for her daughters, a member of the VFW and American Legion in Rehoboth Beach, DE and the New Holland Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Gladys is survived by her children, Karen V. Horst wife of Charles of Lititz, Paul Wise of Wyomissing and Theresa Ann Wise of Shillington, four grandchildren, one great grandchild and brother, Ron Blank husband of Joyce of Tuscan, AZ.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 10:30AM in Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557. Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville PA 17003.
