94. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Ellen Bricker of

She graduated from West Chester State Teachers College with a degree in
Physical Education teaching.
Glenda led an active life. Through her lifetime she was a Physical Education
teacher, a Field Hockey Coach, a church camp counselor and director, and a
Sunday school teacher. She was also an active member of the community at
Garden Spot Village where she was a resident for nearly 20 years. She

Glenda was a “people person.” She made friends everywhere she went. She
also loved her family and was always eager to hear news of the family. She
kept track of the names and birthdays of nieces and nephews, great nieces

efforts to send each one of them a birthday card every year.
A celebration of life will be held for Glenda at the Chapel at Garden Spot
Village on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family
requests that donations be made to the Benevolent Fund at Garden Spot
Village, 2033 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA, 17557. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
