Glendine H. White

Glendine H. White, 94, of Bowmansville, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Gerald R. White, whom preceded her in death in 2012.

Born in East Westmoreland, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Eva (Hill) White.

Glendine was a factory worker for Pepperidge Farms and attended The Bridge Fellowship in Shillington. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening and flowers, making crafts, and was an avid collector.

She is survived by 4 children: Francis G. White of Birdsboro, Eugene B. White, husband of Sondra, of Denver, PA, Monica L. Pike-Meyers, wife of Dean, of Greencastle, and Holly H. Miller of Bowmansville; a daughter-in-law, Judy White of Winchester, NH; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Lawrence and Michael, and her brother Edwin White.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at The Bridge Fellowship, 902 Philadelphia Ave., Shillington PA 19607 with Pastor Larry Baker officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill PA 17581. In lieu of flowers, a donation towards Glendine’s funeral expenses would be appreciated by the family.
