Grace I Boley, 75 of New Holland, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy after a lengthy illness.
Born in Narvon, she was the daughter of the late Elmer T., Sr., and Esther M. (Houck) Hillworth. Her husband, Chester Boley, died in 1972.
Grace was a seamstress for 32 years with Shirlee Mfg. in Terre Hill. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and playing BINGO.
Surviving is her companion of 42 years, Bruce Means of New Holland; six children, John Fryberger of Columbia, Robert Fryberger of Gap, Wanda Boley of Elizabethtown, Janet, married to Donald “Butch” Welsh of Gap, Tony “Butch”, married to Amy (Welsh) Boley of New Holland, and Glenn Boley of East Earl; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a grandson, Madison Boley; a sister, Phyllis Diem; and two brothers, Elmer “Tom” Fryberger, and Kenneth “Jake” Fryberger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 10 am at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, with Carl Sandoe officiating. Interment will be in the Bridgeville E.C. Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 9-10 am.
