Grace L. Discavage

Grace (Smith) Discavage, 86, went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2026. She passed peacefully with her devoted husband of 65 years, James Discavage, by her side.

She was born in Cresson, PA and was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Gailey) Smith.

In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by: Her son Michael and his wife Joanne, her three granddaughters: Cayla Stoltzfus married to Shaun, Cara Forry married to Evan, and Sofia Discavage. She also has two great-granddaughters: Nora Grace and Raven Lily.

She is also survived by three sisters: Vera Feathers, Judy McCabe, and Gloria Smith and one brother, William Smith and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Alice Long, Geraldine Long, Francis Smith, Jr., Helen Bowser, Marg Weyandt, Charles Smith, Fred Smith, and Joseph Smith.

She loved Jesus and her family above all else. She also loved children, animals, and music. Her cooking and baking skills are legendary.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Rd., New Holland with Pastor Dave Horst officiating.
