Grace M. Hurst

Grace M. Hurst, 60, of East Earl, died suddenly at her home on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Born in Terre Hill, she was the daughter of Irene O. (Martin) Hurst, with whom she resided, and the late Samuel W. Hurst.

Grace worked for several businesses, performing secretarial and bookkeeping duties.

She was a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three siblings: Abraham M. Hurst, Riceville, IA, Ida M. married to Ivan M. Reiff, Narvon, and Paul M. married to Thelma (Good) Hurst, East Earl along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Fern (Martin) Hurst and a stillborn niece.

Her funeral will be Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 9:30 am at Bowmanville Mennonite Church with Bishop Leon S. Zimmerman, Marlin S. Lauver, Leon B. Zimmerman and Joshua R. Burkholder officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 PM at the Martindale Mennonite Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Rd., Ephrata. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
