Grace S. Weaver, 97, of 230 Martin Rd., New Holland, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Weaver, in 1996.
Born in Hinkletown, she was the daughter of the late Harvey F. and Maggie R. (Stauffer) Stauffer.
She was a homemaker and a member of Blue Ball Mennonite Church.
Surviving are four daughters: Hazel S. Weaver, New Holland; Naomi married to Raymond Good, Denver; Joanna married to Phil Towles, Peach Bottom; Julia married to Robert Lehman, Harrisonville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three siblings: John S. married to Lena Stauffer, Elizabethville; Jeanetta Stauffer, Athens, WI; Gladys S. married to Lester Martin, Ephrata.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn son and six siblings: Willis S. Stauffer, Elsie S. Martin, Phares S. Stauffer, Henry S. Stauffer, Florence S. Stauffer and Louella S. Stauffer.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Blue Ball Mennonite Church with Bishop Ray Weaver, Elmer Zimmerman, Arnold Martin and Phil Towles officiating. Interment will be in Pike Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
