Gwen H. Gray

Gwen H. Gray, 96, of New Holland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Meadow View at Garden Spot Village. Her husband, Maynard L. “Bud” Gray, preceded her in death on March 15, 2024.

Born in Drexel Hill, she was the daughter of the late William and Lizetta (Jones) Humphreys.

Gwen was a homemaker and most recently attended the Community church at Garden Spot Village. She spent her life serving God by cooking for others and hosting guests in her home. This was her true gift and passion. She and Bud served as host and hostess for missionaries at SIM.

Surviving are two daughters: Sara E. married to David W. Ashworth and Gwyneth married to Kurt C. Froelich, a daughter-in-law Rita Gray, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Peter M. Gray, and four siblings: Catherine, John, William and Sarah.

Services will be private with burial in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
