H. William “Bill” Church- Smith, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away on February 21, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Smithville Flats, NY, he was the son of the late Herbert W. and Elsie Marie (Bottle) Church-Smith.

He was the husband of the late Diana Lee “Dee Dee” (Walker) Church-Smith, who passed on October 9, 2020.

After his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, woodworking, carpentry, cooking and camping in the Adirondack.

He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Church-Smith, sister, Patricia Dunn widow of Mark Dunn, sister-in-law, Diane (Missy) Church-Smith and his good friends and neighbors, Rob and Jane Cavender.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his son, Wade Church-Smith and brother, Henry Allen (Pete) Church-Smith.

No services will be held at this time.
