Harold R. Arment

Harold R. Arment, 85, of New Holland, died Monday, July 6, 2015 at Garden Spot Village after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Giovanna (Andretti) Arment.

Born in Essington, PA, he was the son of the late Harold G. and Helen (Smith) Arment.

Harold worked as a plant operator for Sun Oil for over 30 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children: Anna K. Moyer of New Holland and Robert S Moyer, husband of Stephanie, of New Holland; 2 granddaughters: Nicholle and Hillary Moyer; and a great-granddaughter, Cecilia Shaffer.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen F. Arment.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA, 17557, with Pastor Chester Yoder officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604. Arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
