Harold G. Fox

Harold G. Fox, 84, of Ephrata, formerly of East Earl, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Lincoln Christian Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena (Brubaker) Fox in 2010.

Born in Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Good) Fox.

Harold was a truck driver, most recently at Martin Paving. During his last five years, he enjoyed his second family at Lincoln Christian Home and playing marbles.

He was a faithful member of Martindale Mennonite Church where he formerly served as a Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are four children: Kay L. married to Timothy Weaver, East Earl; Sherry L. married to Kenneth Weaver, Ephrata; Terry L. married to Paula (Martin) Fox, Mohnton; Randy L. married to Arlene (Martin) Fox, Denver; 21 grandchildren: 22 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Marvin married to Ruth (Kulp) Fox, Ephrata; Marian married to John Herr, Lititz; Lucy married to Stuart Keeny, York; Lillian married to James Zimmerman, Mt. Joy.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Kenneth L. and Gary L. Fox and a sister and two brothers.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Rd., Ephrata. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
