Harold L. Kring, 94, of Terre Hill, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025.

Born in Brecknock Township, Harold was the son of the late Frank L. and Mary (Keiffer) Kring. A lifelong resident of the area, he carried with him a deep appreciation for the land and the enduring values of hard work, faith, and family that shaped his life.

Harold shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Pauline Elizabeth (Wentzel) Kring, until her passing on July 20, 2020. Their marriage was a true partnership, rooted in devotion, faith, and mutual respect.

A faithful member of St. John Center Lutheran Church, Harold lived his life guided by quiet faith and kindness. Music held a special place in his heart, and he cherished his years singing in the church choir and the Gap Male Chorus. He also held a deep affection for drum corps, which brought him joy and reflected his love of music and tradition.

Harold had a lifelong love of farming and gardening, finding peace and purpose in working the soil and tending to the earth. In his quieter moments, he could often be found reading the evening paper or watching the Philadelphia Phillies, cheering them on with his quiet and loyal enthusiasm.

Above all else, Harold’s greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a caring brother, whose steady presence, gentle wisdom, and kind spirit will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his son, Randy, husband of Cynthia Kring of Phoenixville; his two cherished grandchildren, Kelsey Elizabeth Kring and Rebecca Leigh Kring; and his brother, Carl Kring, husband of Judy. Harold is also survived by extended family and friends who were truly blessed to have known him.

In addition to his wife and parents, Harold was preceded in death by his two sisters, Margaret Gress and Arlene Shank.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Groff-High-Eckenroth Funeral Home, 209 East Main Street, Terre Hill, PA 17581. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Center Union Cemetery.

Harold will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong work ethic, deep love for his family, and the quiet, meaningful life he lived. His legacy will continue in the hearts of all who loved him.
