Harriet G. Sensenig

Harriet G. “Hattie” Sensenig, 92, formerly of Main St., New Holland, died Sunday evening, December 4, 2011, at Garden Spot Village where she had resided since 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron W. Sensenig in 1999. Hattie had been a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her brothers, C. Lewis married to Carol (Beideman) Martin of Ephrata; C. Edwin married to Diedre (Eckenroth) Martin of Bowmansville; and J. Donald married to Maryann (Mellinger) Martin of Lebanon, and her sisters, Laura J. married to Paul W. Weaver of Lititz, and Mildred married to Aaron M. Horst of New Holland, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Sadie Ella Martin, Henrietta Martin, and Lillian Leaman and brothers Robert Ray, A. Eugene and J. Horace Martin. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10 a.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17557 with Chaplain Chester E. Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Chapel on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 – 10 a.m. If desired, memorials in honor of Harriet may be sent to Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund, address above.
