Harriet “Sis” F. (McClune) Blessing, 93, of East Earl, passed away on May 7, 2026 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Martha (Petsch) McClune.

She was the wife of the late Samuel E. Blessing, with whom she married on April 4, 1974 and shared 36 years of marriage until the time of his passing on February 1, 2011.

She was a sewing machine operator for LMC in Ephrata. She enjoyed reading, painting on her tablet and puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra wife of Robert Morrison and Cindy wife of Robert Smith, son in law, Thomas Preuster, step children, Terry Blessing husband of Linda, Ed Blessing husband of Kathy, Vicky Stanley, Wanda Albright wife of Terry and David Blessing husband of Charlene, eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, her brother, John “Buzz” McClune and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne Preuster, a step-daughter Tammy Wolf, and her siblings, Clarence “Bud” McClune and Ruth Landis.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W Main Street, New Holland PA 17557. A Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Ranck’s United Methodist Cemetery.
