Harry B. Strock

Harry B. Strock, 78, of Elverson, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel A. (Wright) Strock in 2012.

Born in Elverson, he was the son of the late Harry Strock, Sr. and Catherine (Hawk) Strock.

Harry was employed by Graco in Elverson for 25 years, retiring in 1995.

He was a lifetime member of Twin Valley Fire Co. and the Chester County Fire Police Association. He was also a Fire Police Captain with the Elverson Fire Co.

Surviving is a daughter, Louise married to Floyd Jennelle, Elverson, two sisters: Grace Miller, Boyertown and Elsie married to Gene Kocher, Reading and a brother Paul married to Barb Strock, MD as well as nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 17 at 2 p.m. at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Pastor Diane LaFauci officiating. Interment will be in Caernarvon Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth’s on Friday from 1 -2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Twin Valley Fire Co., P. O. Box 18, Elverson, PA 19520.
