Harvey Z. Stoltzfus

Harvey Z. Stoltzfus, 81, formerly of Morgantown, pastor and dairy farmer, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Landis Homes, Lititz. He was the loving husband of Lillian Stoltzfus, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Isaac and Lydia (Zook) Stoltzfus.

Harvey pastored Conestoga Mennonite Church for 41`years, was an overseer in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and was honored with the title of Pastor Emeritus in 2011. Following retirement, he served as interim pastor at Oley Valley Mennonite Church and Sandy Hill Mennonite Church,and did voluntary service in Alaska.

Harvey enjoyed beekeeping and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Harvey is survived by 6 children: Dorothea Hostetter, wife of Dale, of Atglen, Grant, husband of Susan (Swartzendruber), of Harrisonburg, VA, Juanita Barter, wife of Jonathan, of Branchport, NY, Lois Olney, wife of Bruce, of Lancaster, Myron Stoltzfus, husband of Rebecca (Preston), of East Petersburg, and John Michael Stoltzfus, husband of Paula (Hochstedler), of Lansdale: 19 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and cousin Susie Scott who shared his childhood home and a great-grandchild Alyah Hostetter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St, Morgantown, PA with Pastor Robert Petersheim
