Hazel I. Folker

Hazel I. Folker, 88, of New Holland, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lititz.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Jason and Mabel (Weaver) Lowry. Her husband, James H. Folker, died Feb. 5, 1998.

Hazel was a homemaker and former member of Rancks United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, latch hook, and was dedicated to her granddaughter, Deneen Sheaffer.

Surviving are four children, Tony L., married to Edith (Shelly) Folker of New Holland, Sharon I., married to Larry Piersol of New Holland, Ronald E., married to Anne (Buckwalter) Folker of New Holland, and Kathryn L., married to Bernard J. Ozga of New Holland; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Weaver.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, Lee and Paul Lowry; and a sister, Betty Seifred.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Rancks United Methodist Cemetery with the Reverend Bradley Haws officiating. Kindly omit flowers.
