Helen F. Beiler, 84, of Lancaster, died on December 1, 2011, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Beiler, Jr., on Feb. 4, 1995. Born in Rapho Twp., she was the daughter of the late John R. and Alta (Rohrer) Bear. Helen was a former member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, New Holland. In her early years, Helen was employed at the Keppels Candy Factory and later with RCA. She retired to become a wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed word puzzles and gardening. Her passion was looking forward every year to planting her favorite flowers. She especially enjoyed cooking for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. She is survived by her son John R. Beiler, III, and her daughter Deborah J., married to Christopher A. Boniface, both of Lancaster, her grandchildren, Vanessa Beiler and Jessie Beiler, both of Lancaster and Jamie Beiler of Harrisburg, and her great grandchildren, Brittany Lynn and Ariana Rose. She is also survived by her sisters Pauline Hess of Rheems; Virginia Bear of New Holland; Janet married to Robert Myer, Gordonville; Betty Bear of Manheim, Josephine Kurtz and Peggy Litchner, both of Lancaster, and a brother Roy Bear of Manheim. She was preceded in death a son David E. Beiler, brothers John R., Charles R. and Daniel Bear, and sisters Dorothy Palmer and Irene Landis. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 12 Noon at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 276 W. Main St., New Holland with Pastor Eric Ritz officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 10:30 until Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Helens memory may be sent to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
