Helen L. Glick

Helen L. (Anderson) Glick, 93, passed away on January 8, 2025 as a resident of Garden Spot Village.

She was born in Carbondale, IL and moved to Denver, CO at the age of one.

In 1954, she graduated with a BSN from the University of Colorado School of Nursing.

Helen married Ray S. Glick in 1956 in Denver, CO and moved to Chester County, PA in 1957.

Helen Worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Coatesville Hospital, Brandywine Hospital and Ephrata Hospital, totaling over 60 years in her position. She was an active member of Bethany Grace Fellowship Church. After retirement, she spent time traveling, visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and volunteering at Garden Sapot Village.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ray S. Glick, her parents, Carl and Maude (Bilderbeck) Anderson, her brother, Carl Eugene Anderson and her sister, Carolyn Zervas.

Helen is survived by her children, Patricia wife of Kenneth Burkhart of Ephrata PA, Judith Barr of Akron PA, Steven Glick of Akron PA and Sandra wife of Peter Lenk of Saline MI, 9 grandchildren\, 6 great grandchildren and siblings, Thomas husband of Shirley Anderson of South Carolina, Charles Anderson of Colorado, Shelby Carter of Colorado and Ruth wife of Chuck Wykoff of Idaho.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557 or to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mt Joy PA 17552.
