Helen G. Ressler

Helen G. Ressler, 95, a resident of Fairmount Homes, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

She was married 73 years to the late Harold L. Ressler who died in 2019. Born in Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Mary Groff Sensenig.

Helen had been a homemaker, store clerk and bakery worker. After her retirement she enjoyed transporting Amish, cross stitching, and word search puzzles. She was a member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church.

Surviving are six children, Velma (Louis) Sauder of Leola, Erma (Lester) Zimmerman of New Holland, Harold Lee (Wanda) Ressler of Palmetto, Fl, Cathy Ressler of Leola, Larry (Deborah) Ressler of Wichita, KS, and Shirley (Matthew) Cousino of Pittsburgh; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings, Gladys Weber, Anna Mae Stauffer Weaver, Arlene Pharis, Albert Sensenig and Levi Sensenig, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 21, at 2:00 P.M. at the Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola, PA. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
