Howard Allen Moss

Howard Allen Moss, of New Holland, entered into glory on July 5, 2021 He was the husband of Barbara Lee Moss with whom he shared 67 years of Marriage.

Born in New Madrid, Missouri, he was the son of late Charles and Eva Moss of Lilbourn, Missouri.

Howard graduated from Portageville High School and served in the United States Air Force Security Service for over twenty years. Upon his retirement he managed the Portageville Cotton Gin for ten years before entering the aerospace industry with Martin Marietta Corporation in Littleton, Colorado.

Howard is survived by his children Leah (Moss) Curtis of Cape Girardeau, MO and Howard A. Moss, Jr. (Carol) of New Holland, PA; grandchildren Christian Curtis, Courtney Curtis, Sabrina Brown, and Ryan Moss. He also has six great grandchildren. He is survived by sibling: Jan Carter of Ste. Genevieve, MO.

Howard was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church and over the years was an active volunteer with the Twin Valley Food Pantry and Meals from the Heart. He was a kind, sincere, and loving husband and father who always verbalized his love and support to his wife and children. He always greeted people with a hug or a firm handshake. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 - 11:00am at the Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown, PA with the Rev. Robert Petersheim officiating. Interment will be private in the Conestoga Mennonite Cemetery
