Isaac Leroy Nolt

Isaac Leroy “Ike” Nolt, 87, of Ephrata, PA, entered into rest on September 23, 2026, at Fairmount Homes. Born in the nearby village of Linden Grove, he was the son of Isaac Nolt and Irene (Sheaffer) Nolt. Ike was the devoted husband of Miriam Nolt, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Ike was employed by the Thomson Corporation as a machinist and worked his way up to the position of shop foreman. He was employed there for over 43 years and was instrumental in start-up and training of employees at new facilities.

Ike was a devout Christian and worshipped at the Blue Ball Community Church (formerly the Blue Ball Church of the Brethren) his whole life and held various positions within the church. Some of his volunteer work included helping at Lighthouse Vocational Services and numerous trips to support clean-up and reconstruction of areas hit by natural disasters.

Ike greatly enjoyed family vacations to the mountains, hunting, antiquing, playing card and board games, and time spent with friends and family. He had a great sense of humor right up to the end and a twinkle in his eye that betrayed him when he was up to mischief.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, Colleen Martin (Ed) of East Earl, Mike Nolt (Carol) of Elizabethtown, Cindy Brubaker (Jay) of Kenly, NC; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Luke (Lorraine) and two sisters; Clara Fox and Nora Garber; and a sister-in-law Erna Martin.

He was preceded in death by sister Verna Zook, brothers Titus and Lester; 4 infant brothers; and a grandson.

Services will be private with interment at the Blue Ball Community Church, Blue Ball.
