Irene Sensenig

Irene Sensenig, 88, passed away of Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Manheim, where she had resided for the past two and a half years. She had formerly lived on Frysville Road, Ephrata for many years.

She was the wife of the late Miles Sensenig who died in 1974. Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel Snader Weaver.

Irene was a homemaker and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Eunice S. wife of Clyde S. Peters of Manheim; she raised Alma N. Sensenig of Denver, and the late Rhoda N. Zimmerman wife of Roland Zimmerman, of East Earl; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; a brother, C. Irvin Weaver of Ephrata; and a sister-in-law, Mabel wife of Harold Good of Reinholds. She was preceded in death by a brother Earl Weaver.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 1, at 10:00 A.M. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA with Bishop Daryl Weaver, Eugene Weaver and Luke Weaver officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
