J. David Hollowood

J. David Hollowood, 86, formerly of New Holland, entered the presence of Jesus on July 2, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late M. James and Jane (Piehl) Hollowood.  He was the husband of Gail D. (Fagrelius) Hollowood, whom he married on December 30, 1961 and with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

He was a retired Baptist pastor.

David is survived by his wife Gail; his children: Rachel (wife of Joel Miklas), Sarah Barnard, Stephen Hollowood, and Thomas Hollowood (husband of Amber); twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his sister Ruth (wife of Gary Farkus).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Venus and his brother J. Stephen Hollowood.
