J. Paul Hostetter

J. Paul Hostetter, 84, formerly of New Holland, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Ephrata Manor. His wife of 65 years, Viola M. (Graver) Hostetter, survives.

Born in Refton, he was the son of the late A. Clyde and Lillie Mae (McMichael) Hostetter.

J. Paul was a car salesman and then sales manager for John Sauder Chevrolet, New Holland, which cultivated his love of cars.

He was a member of Grace Family Church and enjoyed bicycle riding, golfing and traveling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Sharon married to Gerald Leaman, New Holland; Gary married to Barbara Hostetter, Lancaster; Carol S. married to Duane R. Hurst, Lititz; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hostetter and a brother Robert Hostetter.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the personal care nursing staff at Ephrata Manor for their loving care of J. Paul.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Grace Family Church with Pastor Tim Hodge officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 – 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
