Jim will be greatly missed by his wife Fannie (Martin); his 3 daughters and their husbands: Jamie and Dylan Baxter, Denver; Monica and Nelson Good, Reinholds; and Pam and Dan Kulp, Lititz; and his 8 grandchildren: Warick, Trevor, and Atley Baxter, Aly Rae and Tanner Good, Elijah, Avaleine, and Livia Kulp. Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Earl Burkholder, Adam Burkholder, and Galen Burkholder, and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Burkholder, Arlene Burkholder, and Janie Burkholder.
Jim was a loving husband and father; he was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. Jim and Fannie were members of Carpenters Community Church for almost 40 years and were recently attending Christian Fellowship Church. While his latter years were spent battling cancer, his family is rejoicing in his heavenly healing. “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
