James H. White

James H. White, 61, of New Holland, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care of Mount Joy. He was the loving husband of Debbie K. (Jordan) White, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, he was a son of Thelma I (Hershey) White and the late Kenneth H. White, Sr.

Jim was a devoted husband and father. A man after God's own heart, which flowed into all aspects of his life. He had a heart for ministry that touched many people's lives. Jim was a hard worker, and an expert craftsmen, who installed church furniture in all 50 states, six islands, and two other countries. He owned White enterprise and sub contracted through New Holland Church Furniture. Jim also,loved to fish,hunt,play games, and he had a great sense of humor. Having fought a courageous battle for 18 months, he is now singing and dancing on God's great dance floor.

In addition to his wife and his mother, James is survived by 2 children; Joshua C. White, husband of Jacelyn, of Morgantown, and Danae L. Franck, wife of Matthew, of Mohnton; a granddaughter, Kylie P. Franck; 5 siblings: Kenneth H. White, Jr., husband of Jenny, of Virginia, Grace Sandoe, wife of Carl, of New Holland, Robert White, husband of Ruthie, of New Holland, Evie Kleeman, wife of Tom, of Indiana, and Gladys Tucker, wife of Scott, of Lancaster; and numerous nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Petra Church, 565 Airport Rd, New Holland, PA 17557 with Pastor Ken Hershey and Pastor Titus Kauffman officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the church.
