He was an equipment operator for PennDOT for 32 years. A member of Swamp Christian Fellowship in Reinholds, he served as an assistant Sunday School teacher for four to seven year olds, a willing worker, and a member of the "bulletin crew". In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Barry Wolfe, Harrisburg, and two daughters: Tammy married to Larry R. Martin, Denver, and Penny married to Patrick McHugh, Akron, seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 a.m. at Swamp Christian Fellowship with Pastor M. Craig Snow officiating. Interment will be in Swamp Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 – 10 a.m. If desired, memorials may be sent to Swamp Christian Fellowship, address above.
