Jane L. Anderson

Jane L. (Hess) Anderson, 69, of East Earl, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. She was the loving wife of Gary L. Anderson, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, Jane was a daughter of Paul B. Hess and the late Mary Jane (Wiley) Hess.

Jane worked as a homemaker and was a past partner of Hess Siding. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, painting, quilting, puzzles, camping, and traveling (especially to the shore to collect seashells).

In addition to her husband and her father, Jane is survived by two daughters: Carmen G. Disanto, companion of David Johns, Sr., of Narvon, and Teresa Wagner of Harrisburg; four siblings: Margaret “Peg” Hackman (Ken) of Denver, Mary Lou Wenger (Ronald) of Duncannon, P. Douglas Hess of Mohnton, and Jack Hess (Kimberly) of Morgantown; and six grandchildren: Jacqui, Terry, M. Shane, Dustin, Carissa, and Lucas.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11 AM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill PA 17581 with Pastor Sam Furches officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10-11AM at the funeral home prior to services.
