Jane M. Goodell

Jane M. Goodell, 95, of New Holland, formerly of Lancaster, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hilliard Goodell, in 1993 and a brother Lee Wolf.

Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie Wolf.

Jane graduated in 1940 from Hagerstown High School and then completed a degree in accounting.

She was a CPA for a public utility in Georgia and then owned a private accounting practice in Florida.

She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and reading books and was especially fond of cats. At Garden Spot Village, she was active playing Bingo and volleyball. She was known to be generous to charities.

Jane was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Holland where see was active in the choir and made many friends. She was also a member of the Lancaster Country Club.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. Interment will be private in Greenwood Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to Hospice & Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
