Jane E. Witmer

Jane E. (Feister) Witmer, 86, of Narvon, passed away on February 10, 2024 at Ephrata Manor.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Elva (Stauffer) Feister.

She was the wife of the late Roy B. Witmer, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage until the time of his passing on October 13, 2009.

She was a member of Leacock Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and was a homemaker. She had participated in the Sweet Adelines Women’s Chorus for 20 years and was a Girl Scout Leader in Paradise. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very involved in their lives.

Jane is survived by her children; Clint J. husband of Danette E. Witmer and Rhonda M. widow of Bradley S. Kurtz, her grandchildren; Michael husband of Amy Monaghan, Amber Monaghan significant other of Dru Lund, Nathan husband of Kim Kurtz and Eric Kurtz and her great grandchildren; Isaac Monaghan and Ruby Monaghan. Also surviving is her brother; Larry Feister.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Kenneth Feister and John Feister.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:30 AM in the Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557. A Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, 4075 Harrisburg Pike, Mt. Joy PA 17552.
