Janet M. Martin

Janet M. Martin, 59, of Morgantown, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

Born in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Edwin W. and Elizabeth (Musser) Nolt. She was married 31 years on January 14 to Lester Z. Martin.

Janet was a homemaker and attended Petra Church in New Holland. She enjoyed reading, word search, playing Scrabble, yard sale-ing, and camping.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Julie, married to Todd Weber of Adamstown; a son, Chad, married to Michelle (Ringler) Martin of Harrisburg; and four brothers and sisters, Miriam, married to Monroe Roberts of New Holland, Robert, married to Anna (Miller) Nolt of Manheim, Ruth Ann, married to Walter Musser of Gap, and Wilmer, married to Janie (Baker) Nolt of Narvon.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23 at 10 AM at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, PA 17557 with the Reverend Lester Zimmerman and the Reverend Jeremy Leaman officiating. Interment will be in Petra Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Sunday at the Church from 3–4:30 and 6-7:30 PM.
