Janice L. Hoeltzel

Janice L. “Moke” Hoeltzel, 52, of New Holland, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at WellSpan, Ephrata Community Hospital surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the Late Abe Hoeltzel and Jane L. (Ferguson), married to Arthur Weiler.

Moke worked as a secretary for several area businesses.

She was a member of Petra Christian Fellowship who gave her and her family a lot of support and love along with good friends. She enjoyed reading, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving is a son, Zachary Garey of New Holland; and six brothers and sisters, Barry, married to Carole Heiserman of Lancaster, Les, married to Barbara Heiserman of Lancaster, Dennis Heiserman of Lancaster, Sherri, married to Lloyd Pfitzenmeyer of New Holland, Arthur, married to Joanne Weiler of Lawrenceville, and Carol Harple of Quarryville.

Preceding her in death is a brother, Randy Heiserman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 11 am at Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, PA 17557 with the Reverend Titus Kauffman and the Reverend Jeremy Leaman. Interment will be at a later date at the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Saturday at the Church from 9:30 – 11 am.
