Jean O. Campbell, 89, of New Holland, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, died Friday, September 12, 2014 at Garden Spot Village, New Holland.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late David and Barbara (Sayers) O’Neill. She was married 61 years on May 2 to Alexander H. “Sandy” Campbell.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Norristown.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Dr. Donald A., married to Mary Ann (Marcenelle) Campbell of Hickory, NC; a daughter, Nancy J., married to William Plichta of Trappe; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 11 am at the Toppitzer Funeral Home, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA with the Reverend Paul E. Toms officiating. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Toppitzer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10-11 am.
