Jennie Kinsey

Jennie Kinsey, 84, of 5434 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her home.

Born in Caernarvon Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Jennie (Fox) Huyett. Her husband, Lewis Kinsey, died in 2008.

Jennie was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, working with plants, sewing, cooking and fishing.

Surviving are six children, Ruth E. Sensenig of Ephrata, William F., married to Evelyn Kinsey of New Holland, Robert L. Kinsey of Gap, Alice M., married to Ronald Shumate of Leola, Alan L., married to Jodi Kinsey of Gap, and John P., married to Dawn Kinsey of Gap; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters, Wilson Huyett of Gap, Thelma Urban of Denver, Irvin Huyett of New Holland, Earl Huyett of Gap, Katherine Gentry of Pa, Clement Huyett of Leola, Harry Huyett of Oxford, Norman Huyett of Paradise, and Raymond Huyett of Narvon.

Preceding her in death is a grandson Charles Sensenig.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at 10 am at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, with the Reverend Greg Dimick officiating. Interment will be in the Pequea E.C. Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday from 9-10 am.
