Jeremiah Jay Sprecher

Jeremiah Jay Sprecher, 33 of Pequea, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at his home.

Born in Lancaster he was the son of William “Bill” and Brenda (Weidman) Sprecher of Pequea. He was married to Jami (Sample) Sprecher.

Jeremiah worked as Assistant Plant Manager for Original Bills Beef Snacks in New Holland. He graduated from Penn Manor High School.

He was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. He was an avid bow hunter and enjoyed hiking and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are four children, Skyla Leigh Taglieri of Conestoga, Ariel Jane, Isaiah James, and Noah Jay Sprecher all at home; two brothers, Josiah David Sprecher and Nathanael William Sprecher both of Conestoga; and his grandfather, Leroy E. Weidman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 pm at Grace Family Church, 415 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with the Reverend Tim Hodge officiating. Interment will be in the Evangelical United Methodist Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 1 – 2:30 pm.
